Allowing American Ambassador #SergioGor entry into the #Western_Command is a shocking compromise with our #Strategic_Autonomy and a highly dangerous threat to India's sovereignty. Why is the Government of India respectfully escorting a foreign diplomat to a place where national security plans are formulated with extreme secrecy? What is the pressure? What is the conspiracy? What is the temptation?

#America is not only tightening its grip on #India's market and economic front but also on India's energy and defense...

First, #America pressured India to reduce the purchase of #Russian oil in exchange for some concessions in a #TradeDeal. Now, by attempting to show dominance over the Indian military and weaponry, America is trying to distance India from Russia. America has unofficially instructed the Indian government to stop buying weapons from #Russia and instead enter into arms deals with America.

The arrival of America’s new ambassador to India, #SergioGor, at the Indian Army’s #Western_Command headquarters in #Chandigarh and his visit to the AH-64E #Apache attack helicopter center is part of the process of America building pressure on India for new arms deals.

America wants India’s military power, 60-70% of which is dependent on Russia, to shift toward America, France, and Israel. Under the guise of maritime and border security, India is in the process of purchasing 31 'hunter-killer' MQ-9B Predator drones from America. This will ultimately benefit America because it wants to monitor #China from the #Indo_Pacific region. This is part of the Defense Authorization Act of America’s 2026 National Defense Strategy.

America has handed India a list for the purchase of MQ-9B Predator drones, jet engine technology, and even advanced aircraft like the F-35. America’s irritation also stems from the S-400 missile defense system deal between India and Russia.

When Turkey bought the S-400 from #Russia, America imposed sanctions on it and expelled it from the F-35 program. This is because America has a law called #CAATSA (Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act). Under this, America can impose sanctions on any country that buys major weapons like the S-400 missile system from Russia.

Russian weapons have been and still are the backbone of the Indian military for years. The Indian Army is 70% dependent on Russian weaponry—whether it is #AK-203 assault rifles, the #S_400_Triumf missile system, the Indian Navy’s #Talwar_class_Frigates (#IN_Tushil, #INS_Tamal), the #Sukhoi_Su_30_MKI, #BrahMos, or drones, jet engines, tanks, rifles, anti-aircraft missiles, or #DRDO. All of these have flourished for decades with Russia’s cooperation, and these defense ties have stood the test of time.

But it wouldn't be surprising if America, just as it blackmailed India by imposing heavy #Tariffs in the #Trade_Deal regarding Russian oil, does the same in arms deals under the pretext of #CAATSA.
